The Backstory

Meet Marcus.

Marcus doesn't think about the website and the app as two different products. He's simply trying to understand whether EarnIn can help him.

He might discover the product on the web, compare his options, read about how it works, and eventually move into the app. But when those experiences look, sound, or behave differently, something changes.

The product starts to feel less trustworthy precisely when Marcus is deciding whether to trust it.

EarnIn had a strong mobile product, but the web experience wasn't creating the same sense of continuity.

The challenge was not redesigning a website. It was making the entire journey feel like one product.

What We Built

01.

Make the first impression match the product

The website needed to communicate the same clarity and confidence people experienced inside EarnIn.

I redesigned the web experience around the product's core value proposition, bringing the brand and product experience closer together.

02.

Create one visual language

Web and mobile had evolved in different directions.

I established a stronger visual system that connected typography, layout, components, imagery, and interaction patterns across the experience.

03.

Make content easier to manage

The redesigned website also needed a more flexible content foundation.

I collaborated with development teams to translate the design into Contentful, helping create a more flexible experience that the team could maintain and evolve over time.

04.

Turn browsing into a path forward

The website wasn't just a place to explain EarnIn. It was part of the acquisition journey.

I used clearer hierarchy, messaging, and calls to action to help people understand the product and move naturally toward the next step.

The Outcome

01.

A unified experience

Web and mobile began to feel like parts of the same product rather than separate experiences.

02.

A scalable web foundation

The new Contentful setup gave the team more flexibility to manage and evolve the site.

03.

A clearer acquisition journey

The redesigned experience made it easier for visitors to understand EarnIn and take the next step.

04.

A stronger brand expression

The website became a more direct extension of the product experience.

And Marcus?

Marcus doesn't care whether he started on the website or inside the app. He just wants the experience to make sense.

The project reminded me that consistency isn't about making every screen look the same.

It's about making every step feel like it belongs to the same product.
